The Changes in Naval WarfareFollowing the Second World War, the importance of the naval cannon as the main battery of a warship went swiftly into decline. The new designs of the post war period replaced the cannon and other guns with missiles, for all main roles. Considering the trends in naval warfare and how naval warfare was evolving, the change in weaponry aboard warships made sense. However, naval warfare has continued to evolve. I believe that due to the current trends, naval guns should once again become the main weapon aboard a warship.

i was thinking about writing a story where it's basically.. what would life be like if the world had magic, today. So... the University of Guelph, where the School of Magical Arts does not explode on a monthly basis, unlike a certain guildhouse in a certain town on a certain disc. However, I want to use the same kind of whimsical style of writing as Mr Pratchett.. any ideas?

I love Guelph. I'm going into 4th year, and I'm living in Guelph this summer (for the first time), and I love it. Theres things to do all the time, which is nice.

I was looking over all your U of G photos, they're very nice! It's so pretty there in the spring/summer, so it was nice to see that.
I hope you don't mind, but I wanted to know your opinion of Guelph, my sister goes there and loves it, and I'm pretty interested in going to, so I wanted to get different U of Guelph students opinions.
